著名な２名の講演者に講演いただくとあって、予想を遙かに上回る６７名の参加者があり、会場はほぼ満員状態であった。質疑も活発に行われ、飲料水における健康関連微生物の問題への関心の強さが伺われた。

Report on the symposium
Two outstanding speakers gave us great lectures on health related microorganisms. Sixty-seven participants enjoyed their talk. Some of them are from private companies dealing water treatment etc., some are researcher or manager in local or central government, and graduate students in dept. of urban engineering also participated in the symposium.
